Blossom Pillow in Liberty Fabrics
Flowers are blooming in my sewing room and in my garden, today I’m sharing a favorite pillow project – the Blossom Pillow I made with beautiful Liberty floral fabrics.

About Liberty Fabrics
If you’ve sewn with Liberty fabrics before, you may know their silky-soft Tana Lawn fabric, which many sewists choose for apparel projects.
For quilting, Liberty prints many fabrics on their Lasenby cotton base, a quilting cotton created specifically for patchwork and home sewing. It features the same timeless floral prints Liberty lovers recognize, but with a sturdier feel that works beautifully for quilts, pillows, and other patchwork projects.

Curating the Liberty Fat Quarter Bundle
For this collection, I pulled together seven coordinating Liberty floral prints and a white floral tone-on-tone fabric.
When I curate custom bundles, I think about how the fabrics will work together in a finished project. I balance light and dark values, mix print scales, and choose colors that complement one another.

I started this bundle with the Iris floral print, then added fabrics that highlighted the soft purples, warm oranges, and fresh greens in the collection.

Sew the Blossom Pillow
The Blossom Pillow felt like the perfect project for these florals. The larger pieces let the Liberty prints shine, while the light background keeps everything feeling balanced.

You can shop the Liberty Fat Quarter Bundle and the Blossom Pillow Pattern in my shop and enjoy a weekend of sewing!
