Project Inspiration
This-A-Way Quilt
I made a This-A-Way quilt for my friend who’s husband was battling terminal cancer. As soon as I heard the devastating news, I poured my heart, and tears into making this quilt for them. It only took me a couple days to cut and piece the top. I sent it off to my longarm quilter the following week and she turned it around quickly so I could get the quilt in the mail.

Tip: When making the two-at-a-time half square triangles, lay your fabric square right side up with the print going the right way, then place your background fabric square on top. Draw the line from bottom left corner up to the right corner. Then sew on both sides of the drawn line. This will ensure all the direction fabrics all go in the same direction.
