BUTTERCREAM was inspired by mid-century children’s baking books and a Grandmother’s prized collection of recipe tins — chock full to bursting with colorful handwritten and typed recipe cards — Buttercream offers up a sugary and playful array of prints perfectly delectable for every cake-loving sewist!
About the Designer
EMILY TAYLOR patterns and illustrations are marked by organic line, a nostalgic palette and lighthearted imagery, with her designs finding homes across a variety of products. Based in Toronto, Canada, her work is most inspired by vintage children’s books, frequent visits to antique markets and joyful escapes into nature. Visit Emily on Instagram.
Project Inspiration
